Region 8 Congress 2008
Region 8 Congress 2008 is quickly approaching. This awesome event is being held at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Jacksonville, FL on July 18-20, 2008. The purpose of regional congress is to provide education to the teachers, coaches, judges and gymnastics business owners of the region. Letter From Brad Harris
I am extremely proud and honored to be Region 8's new JO Chairman. I must say however, that I begin my term with a terribly saddened heart. In June, at Region 8 Congress in Atlanta, I was approached by Tim & Toni Rand and notified of Tim's intention of running for the J.O. position due to the fact they both had knowledge of my nomination and desire to volunteer for the chairmanship. I immediately felt, that if Tim wanted the job, he had earned that right and deserved it. At that point I declined my nomination and swore my support to Tim. With the recent passing of Mr. Rand I felt a strong obligation to honor the memory of one of my true mentors and the calling of those who nominated me in the first place.

The last few years have been 4's on one side and 5's on the other the first four sessions, and 4's on one side and 6's on the other for sessions 5 and 6.
